SSE Hosts Investment Cooperation Training with Qatar Financial Centre
Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Qatar Financial Centre jointly held an "Investment Cooperation Training" in Shanghai. The event was attended by 52 representatives from 37 listed and prospective listed companies from SSE and SZSE in various sectors, including energy, construction, pharmaceuticals, information technology, finance, and manufacturing.
The training focused on in-depth discussions about Qatar's investment environment, operational practices, and financing policies. It aimed to help participating companies deepen their understanding of the business environment in the Middle East, extending their investment perspectives from countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Qatar.
Additionally, it showcased the high-quality development achievements of China's leading listed companies and their willingness to embrace internationalization, providing new opportunities for Chinese enterprises to explore the Middle Eastern market and promote cooperation between China and Qatar.
SSE continues to play its role as a platform and hub for the capital market, expanding its exchanges and cooperation with overseas investment institutions both in depth and breadth. This training is a continuation of SSE's recent initiatives to organize promotional activities for listed companies in the Middle East. In the future, SSE will continue to explore and optimize cross-border service mechanisms in the capital market, enhance the two-way connection between overseas investment institutions and listed companies in SSE, and support market participants in improving their international capabilities. Simultaneously, it will actively promote the story of China's capital market and steadily advance high-level institutional openness, contributing to high-quality economic development.
