Sberbank, AAOIFI and Tatarstan will hold the first International Conference on Partnership Finance and Investments in Russia
Sberbank, the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and the Republic of Tatarstan will hold the first International Conference on Partnership Finance and Investment. The event will be held on May 15–16, 2025 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center as part of the Kazan Forum 2025.
The conference will be devoted to the topic: "Partnership Finance and Investment: Promoting Sustainable Development and Global Partnerships". It will bring together scholars from the Islamic world, regulators, and financial institutions to discuss the role of affiliate finance in driving economic development and integrating it into Russia's financial system. The conference will discuss the development of standardization, responsible financing, the introduction of investment mechanisms, and compliance with ethical principles on the way to international cooperation.
For a global audience, the event will be streamed live on Zoom, YouTube, and other social media platforms. The conference will be sponsored and partnered by a number of organizations, including financial institutions, investment agencies, academic institutions and technology providers.
Within the framework of the conference, a plenary session will be held, at which representatives of authorities, AAOIFI, and leaders of partner finance will make keynote speeches. Panel discussions are also planned on the following topics:
– Standardization of partnership financial activities – the role of AAOIFI standards in the financial sector of Russia;
- Opportunities for international investment – study of partnership financing instruments to attract foreign investment;
– Education and retraining in the field of partner finance – strengthening the potential of the industry and academic cooperation;
